I will be releasing a new CD shortly. – I am producing the CD myself. It will feature my own compositions.        Also we’re working on a new design for the cover of the already recorded “Dream” CD which should be ready for re-release in the next couple of months.

RECENT NEWS

A wonderful night of music on April 17th at the Red Robinson Theatre was celebrated at a benefit concert for the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Craig McCaw and Satwant Singh, two original members of the Poppy Family, joined me for some early Poppy Family songs. Some friends of mine from Music Hop, a national TV show we all appeared on when we were teenagers, also joined me for some fun reminiscing and singing.

A new friend sang a duet with me:- a great singer by the name of Virginia Blatchford who also went through a kidney transplant last year. It’ was a wonderful night!!

The show went GREAT at the "Summer of Love Celebration” on August 15th in Vancouver at 4th and Vine.

The celebration was affectionately known as “Hippy Days”. 4th Avenue was a mecca in the 60’s and 70’s for the flower children of the Northwest and was considered “San Francisco North”. I spent a great deal of time performing in the coffee houses and Bistros of 4th Avenue in those days and loved it. It was fun!

Canadian Country Music Awards September

  

I had a great time at the Canadian Country Music Awards in Winnipeg (September 5th through September 8th). Here I am with up and coming artist Amber Nicholson at the event. I am working with Amber on her latest album. She was nominated for Female Artist of the Year in 2007. It's always wonderful running into old friends and making new ones. Next year both the CCMA's and the Juno Awards will take place in Vancouver and I'm certainly looking forward to that. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Juno's, they are Canada's equivalent to the Grammies. It's going to be a busy year…I love it!
